There are several methods for doing this and we\u2019ll go over each one below.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Embedding A Form Using The Block Editor<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>If you\u2019re using the new block editor in WordPress which was released with WordPress 5.0, you\u2019ll need to use the Gravity Forms block to add a form to your page or post.<\/p>\n<p>Start by navigating to the page where you want to add the form created with Gravity Forms. Go to <strong>Pages &gt; All Pages<\/strong> and select the <strong>Edit<\/strong> option.<\/p>\n<p>Then, click the <strong>Plus<\/strong> sign in the block editor and search for Gravity Forms. Under <strong>Embeds<\/strong>, click on <strong>Form<\/strong>. A few options include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Toggling the title of the form on or off<\/li>\n<li>Toggling the description of the form on or off<\/li>\n<li>Embedding the form on the front-end using AJAX, so confirmations and changes between form pages can happen without page reloads<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When you\u2019re done going through these options, save your changes and then view your page to see the form in action.<\/p>\n<p>You can use the same process to add a form to any other page on your site or even a blog post if you want to use Gravity Forms to collect leads for your email list.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Embedding A Form Using The Classic Editor<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>If you\u2019re still using WordPress 4.9 or lower &#8211; or if you\u2019ve upgraded to WordPress 5.0 and above but you\u2019re still using the Classic Editor instead of the new block editor &#8211; you can still easily embed Gravity Forms into your posts and pages.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll start by selecting the page where you want your form to appear. Similarly to the block editor, you\u2019ll have a few options here to configure how the form displays on the front-end of your site.<\/p>\n<p>When you\u2019re happy with the changes, click the<strong> Insert Form<\/strong> button to automatically insert the Gravity Forms shortcode into the page or post. Save the changes and you\u2019ll then be able to view the page with the embedded form.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Using Theme File Or Hooks To Embed a Form<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The last option is to embed a form using theme files or hooks. This option is useful if you\u2019re a designer or a developer and want more advanced control over how a form displays.<\/p>\n<p>To do this, you\u2019ll need to use a function call within your WordPress theme file. The function and its available parameters are outlined below.<\/p>\n<pre>gravity_form( $id_or_title, $display_title = true, $display_description = true, $display_inactive = false, $field_values = null, $ajax = false, $tabindex, $echo = true );<\/pre>\n<p>One important thing to note if you decide to use this method, is that you must also manually include the necessary Gravity Forms related Javascript and CSS files. You can do this using the built in WordPress enqueue capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>Those files are not included by default when you\u2019re embedding a form via a function call. However, they are necessary for forms that make use of the conditional logic or use the date picker field.<\/p>\n<p>As such, it\u2019s strongly recommended that you enqueue those scripts to ensure your forms work properly.
